Mastering Trade Execution on the FCT Educational Simulator

Consistent profitability in currency trading relies far more on risk control than prediction. This educational simulator trains traders to execute orders with strict discipline before committing real capital to volatile live market conditions.

1. Why Stop Loss Placement is Mandatory

In market environments, trading without protection risks catastrophic account drawdowns. Learn why capital defense comes first in our guide on what a stop loss is in forex. When using this simulator, orders cannot be placed without predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit levels. By limiting downside exposure to a fixed pip threshold, you ensure that no single trade depletes more than 1% to 2% of your simulated equity.

2. How the Discipline Tier System Works

The FCT evaluation algorithm rewards adherence to statistical edge rather than sheer luck. You gain Discipline XP by:

  • Executing trades that maintain at least a 1:2 Risk-to-Reward ratio.
  • Allowing trades to reach their planned Take Profit target without emotional intervention (+25 XP).
  • Allowing your Stop Loss to close a losing trade automatically without moving the line (+10 XP for capital defense discipline).

3. Exporting Your Practice Sheet

Use the Download Trade Sheet (.CSV) button inside the simulator tool above after completing your session. Reviewing your executed lot sizes, entries, and exit triggers in a spreadsheet helps identify whether your edge comes from clean technical setups or emotional overrides.
